Retail Mannequins
In the world of retail or display mannequins, there are basically four styles: realistic, abstract, bendable and headless.
Realistic mannequins have life like hair, defined faces; abstract mannequins have vague sculpted faces, no hair or sculpted plastic hair and have a timeless futuristic or whimsical look to them.
Bendable mannequins are usually cloth with a wire, bendable form. Usually these are used for infant or children's clothing, but they are available in adult sizes.
Headless mannequins are in fact headless. They are usually cheaper, and some say they force the consumer to look at the clothes and not the "personality of the mannequin."
The best way to get people to buy the product you are looking to push,is to model it! If people see a what the outfit actually looks like on a body,they are more likely to follow through with the sale.Use mannequins to get your point across.
